On Labor day we had ourselves a new family adventure. We went to Jordanelle Reservior and tried paddle surfing. It was so much fun. Imagine a flat Kyak you stand on and then you use a long paddle to move around. Kate climbed on the front of my board and had a blast. Sometimes she sat there other times she tried standing up. She did great. There was a rope she could hold onto to help her feel secure. She also got a big stick to help paddle. We did it for about an hour. I wish we could of taken our family picture out there it was awesome.
After that we went to the beach and had snacks and played in the the water. It was a nice cool cloudy day. Jordanelle has lots of camping and picnic areas with cabanas and grass. We will be going back again.
