HAPPY BIRTHMOTHERS DAY!

We sent you an email with a short video. I couldn't get it on here. We just wanted to tell you how much we love you. Kate will often show her friends your picture in her room and tell them you are her birth mother. She is such a wonderful little girl. She is growing up so fast, and getting so tall. I pick her up and she is all arms and legs now.

She is always busy setting up play dates. Kate loves her friends and spending time with them. She will wake and say who is coming over today mom. She loves to color and is getting really good at it. She can write her name, knows the sounds of all 26 letters of the alphabet and even does a math game on Troys phone. There are pictures and she can count them and answer correctly. She loves learning and is asking funny questions.

She asked me the other day why Jesus made toes. We then had a short conversation about how Jesus made us to look like our Heavenly Father and the He had a body so he made us to look like Him. Then she asked who Jesus was and I tried to give a short version of the preexistence and the war in heaven. "Jesus is our brother and he volunteered to die for our sins so we could make our own choices here on earth. I then told her about Satan and that his name was Lucifer... not thinking she would get much but little did I know she was listening. Later in the day she got a mini bunny pillow pet and wanted to name it lucifer. I laughed so hard and asked her how about Lucy? We had a little back and forth and then she settled for nuh-aa. So the bunny is named Lucy Nuh-aa. I think the cat in the movie Cinderella is named Lucifer too so maybe she was thinking of the cat? Either way she makes us laugh every day .

We think of you everyday. We love you and pray for you to get lots of blessings. You have given us a very precious gift and we just hope you know how much that has meant to us.

All our love!!

The other day Kate and her friend were playing out in the kitchen. I kept hearing the garbage can lid open and close. After the 3rd time I thought uh oh? This is what I found. They were so excited to show me their new hair cuts. I then told them they shouldn't smile what they did was bad and they were in trouble. (I was laughing inside though and sort of in shock)
We are lucky to have a gifted visiting teacher save the day.

Sunday we made necklaces for grandma to give to the youth in Yeravan, Armenia at youth conference. I enlisted some of our young women to help me. It was a lot of fun stamping the word courage on 90 washers. Here is a link to do them. Use a magic eraser to wipe off the sharpie off. They are not perfect but made with lots of love.

My sister gave me the cutes little vases perfect for my tulips. I just wanted to show them off. We really need the sun to show up for more than a day. I want to garden so bad. I can't wait to get started this season.
